Bethany Christian School

Children's Ministry
We want children at Bethany to grow up knowing that Jesus loves them and gave everything for them. We desire to help children grow in Christ through Biblical teachings they can understand and activities that reinforce that teaching. Ultimately we are excited to partner with parents in reminding children of the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We offer Primary and Junior Church on Sunday mornings, Wednesday night Children’s Club, and age-based Sunday School classes on Sunday nights.
Youth Ministry
We live in a world where truth and purpose are confusing and unattainable. The Youth Group at Bethany is designed with the purpose of helping teens build their lives on the foundation of the absolute Truth, Jesus Christ.
We’re committed to providing a place for Middle and High School students to connect with God, with other students, and with discipleship-minded leaders dedicated to helping students grow closer to Jesus. The Bethany Youth Group is committed to being a Word-centered hub for healthy relationships with caring mentors.
The regular Youth Group meeting is on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm, with other activities, camps, and gatherings scheduled throughout the year.
Small Groups
While our Sunday corporate gatherings and ministry of the Word are the highlight of every week, we encourage and provide our members with opportunities to be engaged in life-touching-life discipleship through various small group ministries.
Small group settings provide the advantage of accountability and opportunities to study the Word of God together, and share what we’re learning and how He is changing us. Small groups also provide an opportunity for those equipped to teach to use their gift to serve others.
Small group ministries include:
Adult Bible Study – Brief, 12 to 14 week classes centered on a certain topic on Sunday evenings.
Deacon Care Teams – Every member is assigned to a care team shepherded by one of our deacons. These groups meet 7 or 8 times a year for food, fellowship, and to study the Bible passage we’ve been studying as a church.
Ladies’ Bible Study – Groups that meet together from September through May to study a text together. Ladies can sign up for a time and location that best fits their schedule.
Men’s Bible Study – Gathering of men to study a book of the Bible together on various Tuesdays throughout the calendar year.
Missions
We believe the church’s responsibility to be involved in missions is a matter of obedience to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:18-20, Mark 16:15, John 20:21, Acts 1:8). It’s our desire to see people of every tribe, tongue, and nation come to salvation by grace through faith.
Bethany supports a variety of missions partners locally, within the United States, and around the world. Our church votes to support missionaries based on the strategic nature of the work, their relationship to our church, and how effective we believe the partner will be in their chosen field.
As a church, we commit to regular prayer support, pastoral support, and financial support as they serve.
